How Does EcoVadis Scoring Work?

EcoVadis evaluates companies across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

Your score (0–100) is based on how well your company demonstrates: Policies- formal commitments and governance
‍Actions- initiatives and programs in place
‍Results- measurable outcomes and performance data

The assessment is documentation driven. Your score depends not just on what you do, but how clearly and credibly you can demonstrate it. Based on your overall score, companies may be awarded a medal that reflects their relative performance compared to all rated companies:

‍Platinum- Top 1%
‍Gold- Top 5%
‍Silver- Top 15%
‍Bronze- Top 35%

Companies below this threshold receive a scorecard but no medal.

Achieving a higher score and moving up medal tiers depends on the strength, consistency, and documentation of your data.
