Phoenix Design Aid has been using CEMAsys services since 2009, and it has been a great pleasure to work with their services to this date. Specifically, we have been using their Carbon Footprint Module which provides a great overview and calculation of GHG emissions. The annual carbon footprint report gathers all our activities in one place while also dividing the GHG emissions into different categories which enables us to look at the numbers in detail. We use the report in our own sustainability report and in relation to our environment certificate, and it has been recognized among our stakeholders. Since 2018 CEMAsys has been a valuable partner to Cappelen Damm delivering high-quality ESG services. Their honest and professional approach contributes greatly to our yearly climate accounting using CEMAsys’ system solutions. With accurate emissions estimates, we were able to submit our science-based target to SBTi and got it approved with expert help from CEMAsys.
Lately, Cappelen Damm has been using CEMAsys’ Supply Chain Control system tool to streamline supplier due diligence processes and adhere to the Norwegian Transparency Act. The system allows us to distribute surveys and collect and analyze data, which ultimately saves us time and increases the quality and consistency of the work that we do. The system is considered a prerequisite for Cappelen Damm’s yearly report on supply chain human and labour rights.
